MERJE follows a holistic design approach
that “merges” graphic design with the built
environment, helping cities, universities,
healthcare organizations, corporations, retail
establishments, hospitality facilities, libraries,
and public schools promote and enhance their
brand and achieve their mission. We offer
consultation services in wayfinding,
exterior/interior signage design, branding
and identity, donor recognition, exhibit design, interpretive graphics, and architectural and
visual enhancements.
MERJE’s members encompass a range of
disciplines including architecture, industrial
design, interpretive planning, exhibit design,

As a partner at MERJE, Glen Swantak serves as the Design Principal, with 20 years of experience in developing the mission and goals of projects and translating them into beautifully conceived wayfinding and design concepts. Glen graduated from the University of the Arts with a degree in Industrial Design and spent 9 yearsof his career designing a wide range of retail, corporate and public sector environments, including hotel, casino and airport projects, earning the SEGD Merit Award for The Wildhorse Saloon at Disney World.
Glen directs the studio's design efforts while overseeing the industrial design and planning components of all projects.
An accomplished designer, with clients spanning all industries including Downtown San Diego, Tampa and Miami, The City of Savannah, CBS 3 / Viacom,Tthe University of Alaska and an SEGD award-winning signage and branding program for the Princeton Public Library.
