A TRIBUTE TO THE SCHOOL’S EVOLUTION
As Part of RMJM Hillier’s renovation and expansion of the library at Penn
State University Berks Campus, MERJE designed a major exhibit to honor the original school: Wyomissing Polytechnic Institute (established in 1927). The exhibit took the form of information signage that told the story of Wyomissing Polytechnic through memorabilia, photos, hundreds of engineering instruments, and a timeline of the school’s evolution.
The design solution transformed the university’s once low-key and uninspired facility into the most popular studying and social hub on campus.
